collaborating with the studio at Outside the Lines to present
a super subjective portrait show that draws on conceptions of identity, memories, and emotional experience. The show includes highly expressionistic self-portraits, icons, and human and animal allegories in electrically charged landscapes. Faces and Places' eclectic nature is a reflection of the individuality of the artists that I have been working with - some of the most honest and fascinating people one could meet. I've challenged them to try new ways of representing themselves, their ideas, and their situations using the right classical or abstract devices to get their particular visions across to the viewer. My work at Outside The Lines has been guided by the hope of giving the artists there the tools and freedom to be who they really are, and I am grateful that I have had the opportunity to get to know them through their art." - DIANA RICE click here to view the art  click above to go

film screening next Wednesday, December 3rd @ 9pm at

will be screening a video documentary called "Michelle's Pantheon", by
this summer's The Midway Cafe,3496 Washington St. Artist-In-Residence, Gabriel Boyer. The film is a portrait of OTL artist Michelle Gilbert's daily life at the studio and gives a general background of the program and how it came into being. A table of merchandise and information on the program will be there. Afterwords DJ Area D will be doing his thing spinning who knows what!?! Could be hip-hop? Could be Spandau Ballet? But awesomeness is
guaranteed!
AND Thursday, December 4th, from 6-8pm, as a part of December's First Thursday @ Gallery 590, Located at 590 Centre Street in JP, We are pleased to be showing the work of Michelle Gilbert, Marty Maher, and William Pimental. There will also be a table of jewlery, crafts and other art for sale by other artists in our studio. T H E O U T S I D E T H E L I N E S A R T I S T - I N - R E S I D E N C E P R O G R A M The Artist-In-Residence Program matches an artist from the community with one or several artists with disabilities in our studio. Together they collaborate on a short term project that can be displayed at our gallery or at another gallery in the community. The Artist-In-Residence will receive a small stipend, and art supply costs will be covered through the OTL program. To apply, or if you have any questions, please CONTACT US. Jádro kapely tvoří dvojice John Manson (zpěv a basa) a Al Deaderick (klávesy a syntezátory),jediní, kdo jsou v kapele od jejích začátků někdy před třemi lety.
